Star Party
On the 9th Dec we held a Star Party for the children of St Stephens and guests.
In the hall we had lots of activities - a raffle, some cards for sale and a very popular cake and mince pies stall. After that we all gathered around and listened as Kathryn told the story of the advent candles.
Everyone had a great time and were able to raise some more money for Toybox.
Harvest Barn Dance
On Sat 14th Oct we held a Harvest Barn Dance at St Stephen's. We had a fantastic turnout with many members of the Church family, friends, relatives and members of the local community. Oscar the Frog provided the live (and lively) music along with the instructions for all the dances.
To restore our energies mid-evening there was a wholesome (mushy) pea and pie supper, followed by generous portions of fruit crumble and ice cream (or ice cream cones, for the children). Overall a fun-filled and tiring evening which also managed to raise some money for Toybox.
